First Nation Bans Children's Aid Workers
Ontario Children’s Aid Workers are being prohibited from entering a First Nation Community. Constance Lake First Nation Chief and Council have passed a resolution banning all members of the Ministry of Children and Youth Services from their territory. Chief Arthur Moore says; “If for any reason a representative enters onto Constance Lake Territory, they will be treated as trespassers, and if any children are removed from the community it will be considered a kidnapping.”

Hell yeah! It's about time the tribes stand up and say something.
The poor families of that community that might be benefiting from the services child and family have to offer? I sure hope some service is available to the families in that community in the meantime and this is resolved soon.I would hate to see something terrible happen to a child or a family in the meantime...The Chief must be putting something in place in his community to ensure the families are supported?? is he??
