DCYF boosts foster care population
In response to Jan Feuer’s July 23 letter looking for foster families for foster children in New Hampshire: If the state DCYF abided by their own laws, there wouldn’t be so many children in foster care. State and federal mandates are not followed in the removal and placement of children by DCYF. Services are not given before a child is removed, and relative placement is not an option, at least in Nashua.
