Attorney: Wimmers had ‘traumatic past’
LeeAnn Wimmers, the former Deerfield woman accused in the smothering death of her infant daughter, has previously been hospitalized for psychiatric illness and was sexually abused as a foster child, her attorney said Wednesday.
