DYFS needs to be completely revamped from the top down. This has to be the most inept agency I've ever seen. I don't underestimate the magnitude of responsibilities that fall on this agency, however, the inexperienced workers coupled with broad policies leave too much room for error. The lives of children are at stake and they are too incompetent to have the power they've been given. Although there is a definite need for child protection services having the courts, the workers, and lawyers all being paid by the same entity does not spell justice for the children in New Jersey.
