Family preservation spending scrutinized
Some changes to Butler County Children Services in recent years have been pushed by former director Michael Fox, some by commissioners and some by state lawmakers. They include cutting the case load for workers to an average of 12, increasing screening of foster parents and hiring a full-time police officer to help with investigations.
