Sir, We take very seriously the group of concerned people who wrote to The Times, but we would urge a more considered response to the Channel 4 series Boys and Girls Alone. We believe that the use of such highly emotional terms as “child abuse” is dangerously misleading, and we would seek to reassure them that their allegations are unfounded.
