Social workers putting in overtime for big caseloads
Staff shortages have some state Child Protective Services working mandatory overtime to keep up with reports of abused or neglected children.
Note: Overwhelmed workers botch cases. Isn't that what they use for an excuse when a kid is killed under CPS watch?
