Cuts threaten child welfare gains
Child welfare in Georgia has made remarkable progress in serving its most vulnerable children and families in recent years. This progress will be jeopardized if the budget cuts proposed by the governor are implemented. The greatest victims will be those who are least able to protect themselves, the children who are at risk of abuse and neglect.
