Timeline: Jersey child abuse case
Allegations of abuse at the former children’s home Haut de la Garenne prompted one of the biggest child abuse investigations seen in the British Isles. The Jersey home, which closed in 1986, was first dubbed the “house of horrors” after fragments believed to be a child’s skull were found buried under a stairwell.
