Study: Anti-psychotic drug use soars among U.S. and U.K. kids

American children take anti-psychotic medicines at about six times the rate of children in the United Kingdom, according to a comparison based on a new U.K. study.

Note: Especially when the kids are in foster care!

  1. Your rants against foster care wear very thin. You blithely ignore the behaviors foster parents have to deal with. That truth does not fit into the bias you want to perpetuate, which seems to be: since the system tramples on parental rights, all foster parents must be evil, too.

Like it or not Bob, foster parents are a part of the system. Therefore they are a part of the problem by default. I never said that there weren’t any good foster parents out there. I know that there are. I am not against them in any way. Nor am I against protecting children. But it’s going to take a little more then that to convince me that the system makes a good parent.

Metaphorically speaking, it's like good people doing the work of the devil.
